Let's face it, Yard Crashers is getting so popular that it is difficult for Ahmad to stroll, unrecognized, through a hardware store and surprise ordinary DIY-ers.
What better plot for an episode of Yard Crashers than a Yard Crashers wedding? We would open our wedding and reception up to the Yard Crashers cast and crew if Ahmad and his crew will help us make our backyard reception-ready. We have 12 months, tons of friends, and the flexibility and enthusiasm to do whatever is necessary to make this happen. Our backyard is a tabula rasa, just waiting for you guys to work your magic.

The Story
Meet Matt, Jen, and Max... No? Ok,Last August, we bought this house:
The house is fantastic for us and the previous owner spent a lot of time and money fixing up the inside. There is only one problem....
The back yard has sat, sadly neglected for a quarter of a century. We have done what we can (those sad little garden boxes were built by moi), but week after week we watch Yard Crashers and secretly pray Ahmad will sneak up behind us at Lowe's. As you already know, this never happened. Somehow, we soldiered on...
Recently, on a family trip to Hawaii, Matt surprised me with a proposal.
We have a wedding to plan, folks.
Like most women, I have ideas about what my perfect wedding would include. Mostly, I would like to be with my loved ones in a place where we can be relaxed and happy. After much discussion, Matt had an idea,
"Rather than spend the money on a venue, why don't we fix up the backyard the way we want it done and have our reception here?" Brilliant. One problem: We are not landscape designers. We could hire a landscape architect, master gardener, and multiple contractors to make our dreams come true, but we would much rather do it ourselves (that way, we can still afford a wedding, too!). In our perfect world, we could work on our yard in conjunction with one of our favorite shows and could help to build the yard of our dreams in preparation for our perfect day.
Whaddya say, gentlemen? Can we work together? We'll provide the yard, bride, groom, labor, and one heck of a party at the end, you just do what you guys do best: make our backyard wasteland into a haven we can appreciate for years to come.
